Report: Kylie Rae Still A Free Agent Following WWE Tryout

WWE have seemingly passed on signing independent wrestling standout Kylie Rae. According to Fightful Select, "Smiley" Kylie is still a free agent despite her recent tryout with the company. 

Rae had a tryout in WWE in mid-December along with the likes of KC Navarro, Vincent, and Dutch. She then competed on Main Event ahead of the December 12 edition of Monday Night Raw as Briana Ray, losing a six-minute match to Dana Brooke. 

Rae has since returned to independent wrestling, losing to Tootie Lynn at Glory Pro's show on January 7 in St. Louis, Missouri. 

The former Warrior Wrestling Women's Champion was previously signed with AEW in 2019 and IMPACT Wrestling in 2020. She exited both companies due to struggles with her mental health and substance abuse. Rae performed on the independent wrestling scene and for the likes of New Japan Pro-Wrestling and the National Wrestling Alliance in 2022. 

While WWE may not have signed Kylie Rae, they are still looking to bring in new talent as Gable Sapolsky was recently spotted scouting at a West Coast Pro Wrestling event.
