Report: LA Knight Considered WWE SmackDown's Top Babyface
LA Knight is the number one babyface on WWE SmackDown
A WWE talent has officially turned babyface.
LA Knight has been receiving big reactions on WWE TV throughout 2023 and the former Eli Drake has been presented as a heel for much of the year. That began to change on WWE TV as the Summer progressed, though, with Knight facing heel opponents in Finn Balor on SmackDown and then The Miz at Payback on September 2.
In the latest update to WWE's internal listings, LA Knight is now officially considered a babyface within WWE following Payback, according to WrestleVotes. Not only that but Knight is listed as the number one babyface on SmackDown, which suggests WWE have major plans for the former IMPACT World Champion for the remainder of the year.
What WWE's plans are for Knight is unknown at the moment but the former Eli Drake was given the rub by John Cena at Payback as the 16-time world champion raised Knight's arm following his win over Miz.
Other babyfaces on SmackDown include Sheamus and AJ Styles.
