Report: LA Knight Done With WWE NXT

LA Knight won't be back on WWE NXT

While he has yet to appear on Friday Night SmackDown, LA Knight has been part of dark segments on the last two editions of the blue brand, founding Knight Model Management and adding Mace and Mansoor as clients.

Knight's future appears to be committed to the main roster and that is indeed the case, with a report from Fightful Select noting the former Eli Drake is already considered a main roster talent and there are no more plans for him on NXT.

His final appearance on the developmental brand came at Stand & Deliver over WrestleMania 38 Weekend when he was defeated by Gunther.

Knight returned to WWE back in February of 2021 and after initially feuding with Cameron Grimes over the Million Dollar Championship, the 39-year-old turned babyface when the developmental brand was revamped as NXT 2.0 in September.

He has made sporadic appearances on the main roster in 2022, defeating Cedric Alexander on a January episode of Main Event and popping up in a backstage segment with Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode.
