LA Knight Is Reportedly A Top Choice To Win Money In The Bank This Year
It is hard to ignore the growing popularity of LA Knight each and every week on WWE programming, and it seems as though those higher up in the company are taking some notice. After being shunned from the WrestleMania 39 card and picking up several losses, a recent report indicates that things could be changing for Knight.
WRKD Wrestling reported on twitter stating, “La Knight has been discussed internally as a leading candidate to win this year’s Money in the Bank match.”
Winning the Money in the Bank briefcase used to ensure a 99% certainty for a future world title reign, though in recent years it has been plagued by bad booking, short-term planning, and an unending Undisputed WWE Universal Championship run from Roman Reigns. That being said, a win for Knight for would be a huge moment.
The Money in the Bank 2023 PPV is set to take place at the 02 Arena in London, England on July 1.
