Report: LA Knight Match Under Consideration For WWE Night Of Champions

YEAH!

All of the matches set to take place at WWE Night of Champions on Saturday, May 27 looked to have been announced after Rhea Ripley vs. Natalya was added to the card earlier this week, but one more contest could be added before tomorrow's show begins at 6 pm BST.

In addition to talents advertised for Night of Champions, The Street Profits, Omos, Karrion Kross, Scarlett, LA Knight, and Rick Boogs were flown to Saudi Arabia. The wrestlers have since appeared in promotional material walking around Jeddah but two of those talents may be in action on May 27.

According to Better Wrestling Experience, LA Knight is "super over with the Saudis" and WWE are "discussing adding him" to the card in a pre-show match against Rick Boogs.

LA Knight and Rick Boogs formed a temporary tag team to face The Street Profits on last week's SmackDown but Knight turned on his partner after they were defeated by Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins.

Knight and Boogs are scheduled to face off on tonight's SmackDown, which was taped on May 19. Find out who is set to win here.

The current WWE Night of Champions lineup is as follows:

  • Seth Rollins vs. AJ Styles - World Heavyweight Championship
  • Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens (c) vs. Roman Reigns & Solo Sikoa - Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships
  • Cody Rhodes vs. Brock Lesnar
  • Becky Lynch vs. Trish Stratus
  • GUNTHER (c) vs. Mustafa Ali - Intercontinental Championship
  • Bianca Belair (c) vs. Asuka - Raw Women's Championship
  • Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Natalya - SmackDown Women's Championship
