Report: Latest On WWE NXT Europe

What is going on with WWE NXT Europe?

One year on from the shuttering of NXT UK and WWE appear to be no closer to launching NXT Europe, with Triple H revealing during the post-Money in the Bank press conference in July that plans for the brand have been delayed by the pending merger of WWE and UFC. Original plans called for NXT Europe to be launched by the end of 2023.

In the latest update, PWInsider has noted those within WWE don't expect anything with NXT Europe to move forward until early 2024. The company has been putting plans together for the new European brand, and WWE reportedly have ideas for which talents and coaches will be involved. One name mentioned as a coach is Sha Samuels, who previously performed in NXT UK and had a guest coaching stint at the WWE Performance Center earlier this year.

WWE are also planning to open a new Performance Center following the launch of NXT Europe. The company previously had the WWE Performance Center for NXT UK in Enfield, London but the expectation is the new facility won't be located in the United Kingdom's capital.
