After the shock departure of Samantha Irvin, Lilian Garcia has returned to WWE announcing duties, with Garcia set to have an ‘extended run’ on Raw going forward.

Irvin departed WWE on October 21, with Garcia stepping back into the ring on that night’s edition of WWE Raw. A report from PWInsider states that Garcia is said to be having an ‘extended run’ as the voice of Raw, but is not expected to be the full-time replacement for Irvin at this moment in time, with a decision to be made on who will become Raw’s permanent announcer ‘down the line’.

This is set to be Garcia’s third run as WWE announcer, having originally held the mic from 1999 until 2009, then again from 2012 until 2016. Garcia appeared on Raw earlier in 2024 sharing a moment with Irvin.

After departing WWE this week, there are reportedly no plans at present for Irvin to join All Elite Wrestling, with Irvin set to explore roles outside of wrestling, as well as spending time with her family after several years on the hard WWE road grind.
