Report: Lilian Garcia To Be Full-Time WWE Announcer Following Return

Lilian Garcia made her return to WWE on Monday's episode of Raw and it wasn't just a one-night deal.

According to WKRD Wrestling, Garcia is back with WWE on a full-time basis as a ring announcer. How long Garcia plans to be back with the company is unknown.

Garcia has long been associated with WWE and she served as a ring announcer from 1999 until 2009. She then returned in 2012 and continued as a ring announcer until her second exit in 2016. Garcia continued to make sporadic appearances, though, and she appeared on Raw earlier this year, sharing a moment with Samantha Irvin.

Irvin announced her resignation from WWE on Monday which led to Lilian Garcia's return. Irvin decided to quit the company, which came as a shock to many within WWE, although others expected her to leave after Ricochet made his own WWE exit and signed with All Elite Wrestling. The couple have been engaged since January 2023.

With Lilian Garcia on Raw, the SmackDown announcer will remain Alicia Taylor and Mike Rome will stick with WWE NXT.
