Report: Major IMPACT Wrestling Star's Contract Still Set To Expire

An IMPACT Wrestling star will become a free agent in early 2024.

A top star IMPACT Wrestling star's contract is set to expire at the end of the year.

According to a report from Fightful Select, Deonna Purrazzo will become a free agent in early 2024 when her current deal runs out.

The 29-year-old signed a multi-year contract in 2020, with IMPACT Wrestling including an option year when reworking the contract (after she'd outperformed her original deal). Fightful's report added that, as of now, an agreement on an extension has not been reached.

Purrazzo had actually worked for IMPACT for several months without a contract, and even won the promotion's Knockouts Championship before officially putting pen to paper.

Now a three-time former Knockouts Champion, as well as a one-time Knockouts Tag Team Champion, Purrazzo was named IMPACT's wrestler of the year in 2020, and in her most recent in-ring outing, 'The Virtuosa' lost to Jordynne Grace at last week's Victory Road event.

Prior to signing for IMPACT, Purrazzo worked for WWE, wrestling predominantly for the NXT brand. After only working a couple of main roster matches, she was released by the company in April 2020.
