Report: Major Plans For DIY On WWE TV Revealed

Reports have suggested that Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa will soon reunite on WWE TV to reform #DIY and those plans look to be drawing closer after Ciampa returned from injury on the June 19 edition of Monday Night Raw, defeating The Miz in a four-minute match. Gargano has been off TV since mid-May and plans reportedly call for him to come back at some point after Money in the Bank. 

WRKD Wrestling have reiterated that plans remain in motion for #DIY to reunite. They also noted that the reunion between Ciampa and Gargano will lead to a dream feud with Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn over the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships. 

"While Johnny Gargano was noticeably absent from #WWERaw, fans saw the return of Ciampa. As we've reported in the past, there are still plans in the works to reform #DIY. We can now add current plans have this leading to a feud with Owens/Zayn over the tag titles," WRKD Wrestling tweeted.

#DIY were one of the most popular tag teams in NXT history and Gargano and Ciampa had one reign with the NXT Tag Team Championships. Ciampa ultimately turned on Gargano, however, which led to a multi-year feud between the two former tag team partners.
