Report: Tony Khan Decides Not To Book Kenny Omega & The Young Bucks On AEW Dynamite Or Collision Before Forbidden Door

No Kenny Omega or The Young Bucks on AEW Dynamite or Collision

Following reports that Kenny Omega wouldn't be appearing live on this week's editions of AEW Dynamite and Collision, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer has noted The Young Bucks also won't be appearing live in person on either show.

The June 21 edition of Dynamite is scheduled to emanate from Wintrust Arena in Chicago, Illinois. Saturday night's episode of Collision will air from Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada one day before the same arena hosts AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door on Sunday, June 25.

Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks have filmed pre-tapes to build to Forbidden Door, so they still look set to have a presence on AEW's TV shows this week. Omega is scheduled to defend his IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship against Will Ospreay at Forbidden Door in a rematch from Wrestle Kingdom 17. Reports have noted the belief over the weekend was that Omega vs. Ospreay would main event Forbidden Door.

Dave Meltzer further reported that Omega and The Bucks not appearing in person on either Collision or Dynamite was a Tony Khan decision. CM Punk is reportedly planned for Dynamite in Chicago and he will likely be involved on Collision which could be part of the reason The Elite won't be on either show.
