Report: Major Update On Becky Lynch's WWE Return

Becky Lynch could be set to make her WWE return soon

Becky Lynch has been off WWE TV since the Raw after SummerSlam on August 1 but the multi-time women's champion might not be gone for too much longer.

According to Fightful Select, Lynch was expected to be back on WWE TV soon as of last week and The Man was planned to be the fifth member of the babyface women's WarGames team at Survivor Series. Fightful noted those creative plans could, of course, change before the event.

Bianca Belair revealed the fifth member of her team will be revealed on Friday's episode of SmackDown, one day before Survivor Series emanates from Boston, Massachusetts. The babyface team currently consists of Belair, Alexa Bliss, Asuka, and Michin (FKA Mia Yim). They will square off with Bayley, Dakota Kai, IYO SKY, Nikki Cross, and Rhea Ripley inside WarGames.

Lynch has been unable to compete in WWE since she suffered a separated shoulder during her Raw Women's Title match with Belair at SummerSlam. Lynch turned babyface following that match and she was written off TV on Raw with a backstage attack from Damage CTRL. The Man was able to avoid surgery, although she reportedly couldn't resume in-ring training until at least October.

There is said to be excitement about Lynch's return within the new WWE regime as they look to book her on the main roster for one of the first times since Vince McMahon's resignation.
