Mia Yim Undergoes WWE Name Change

A new name for Mia Yim

Following her return to WWE, Mia Yim has undergone a name change.

WWE have changed Yim's in-ring name on their website to Michin, the nickname she revealed on last week's edition of Monday Night Raw. Michin means crazy in Korean.

The former Knockouts World Champion was still referred to as Mia Yim on this week's Raw, although Michin was mentioned by WWE's commentary team throughout the broadcast. Yim was heavily involved in the show due to her involvement in the women's WarGames match at Survivor Series this Saturday. She was taken out by Rhea Ripley ahead of the main event of Raw but Yim ended up making her way to the ring during the final segment as both WarGames teams brawled.

Michin will team with Bianca Belair, Asuka, Alexa Bliss, and an as-yet-unrevealed partner against Bayley, IYO SKY, Dakota Kai, Nikki Cross, and Rhea Ripley inside WarGames.

After being released by WWE in November 2021, Michin returned to the company earlier this month, being revealed as the latest member of The OC. During her time away from WWE, Yim performed on the indies and in IMPACT Wrestling.
