"F**k CM Punk" Chants From AEW Full Gear Highlighted On Being The Elite

Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks didn't hide the "F**k CM Punk" chants

CM Punk was not involved at All Elite Wrestling's Full Gear pay-per-view on Saturday, November 19, but he was still mentioned on the show as loud "F**k CM Punk" chants could be heard during The Elite's AEW World Trios Title match against Death Triangle.

Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks ultimately didn't shy away from the chants on the return episode of Being The Elite on Monday. During a montage of their Full Gear match, the music stopped for a solid 10 seconds as the YouTube show focused on the "F**k CM Punk" chants from those in attendance. The music also repeatedly mentioned people being fake, seemingly as a dig at the two-time AEW World Champion.

Punk and The Elite notably have issues that culminated in a backstage fight also involving Ace Steel following Punk's now-infamous post-All Out media scrum in which he took shots at Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks, Hangman Page, and Colt Cabana. All five men were suspended following the incident while a third party investigated what happened.

That investigation has since ended which precipitated The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega's returns at Full Gear. Punk remains away from AEW TV and he is reportedly in talks with the promotion over a contract buyout. The 44-year-old has made jokes about the backstage fight in recent days.
