Report: Major Update On Kenny Omega & The Young Bucks' AEW Returns

Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks might be on their way back to AEW...

Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks might not be gone from All Elite Wrestling for much longer.

According to Fightful Select, there has been talk backstage within AEW about The Elite returning to work for the first time since All Out. A source of Fightful's also noted their return could happen "imminently" but that was not definitive.

When Omega and The Bucks will resurface on TV is also unknown but talk has revolved around them coming back to at least work backstage.

The Elite have been suspended from AEW since early September and they were stripped of the AEW World Trios Titles following their backstage fight with CM Punk and Ace Steel after Punk's post-All Out media scrum. During the fight, Ace Steel allegedly bit Omega and Nick Jackson was rocked by a chair thrown by Steel.

Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks' suspensions have remained in place while a third party investigates what happened backstage at All Out. Fightful Select noted that the most movement since the investigation got underway occurred in the past two weeks. A meeting was scheduled for last week but there is no word on what was discussed.

While The Elite remain suspended, at least for the time being, Ace Steel has been released by AEW. The promotion and CM Punk are also reportedly in talks over a contract buyout.
