The Elite's Return Teased On AEW Dynamite

It seems The Elite will be returning to AEW TV soon

After nearly two months of silence and inactivity since being suspended by AEW for their part in the All Out locker-room brawl, The Elite could be set for an imminent return to AEW TV.

During the October 26 AEW Dynamite, a vignette aired which showed several highlights of The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega’s run in AEW, from the announcement of AEW on Being The Elite, through to Omega’s AEW World Title win at Winter is Coming 2020, with audio from Kenny and The Bucks talking about their aims for AEW. However, during each snippet, the participants all turned into dust Thanos style, before the AEW logo too turned into vapours - with the 'Elite' part disappearing first - implying that without the Elite, there’d be no AEW.

This is the first overt reference to The Elite since All Out, save for a few scant references on commentary on the October 18 Dynamite. If The Elite were still to be suspended or even set to leave AEW, then there is no way AEW would have aired a vignette like this.

Prior to Dynamite airing, Fightful Select reported that Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks, and Omega’s manager Don Callis were all backstage for the show, after reports stated that The Elite could be returning to work ‘imminently’.
