Report: Major Update On Potential WWE Return For Bray Wyatt

Positive signs about a Bray Wyatt WWE return

Bray Wyatt has largely been away from professional wrestling since his WWE release in July of 2021 but the former Universal Champion could be set to make a sensational return to WWE.

Fightful Select has reported that several within the company believe Wyatt could re-sign with the organisation following Vince McMahon's retirement and the 76-year-old's exit was considered a good sign for any potential return. Wyatt's name has been pitched within WWE creative for a return along with many other names.

McMahon and Wyatt's relationship had become frosty in WWE and while The Fiend remained popular amongst fans, the company ultimately opted to cut him last year and the then-WWE Chairman had reservations whenever Wyatt's name was brought up after he was let go.

If new Executive Vice President of Talent Relations and head of creative Paul "Triple H" Levesque and Bray Wyatt have a good relationship is unknown but several noted it would be a clean slate for both parties if The Eater of Worlds were to return. Most in WWE believe Triple H would move past any issues Wyatt had with Vince McMahon if it allowed the company to put on a better show.

Someone who worked closely with Wyatt said: "I can't speak for him, but I know I've heard his name brought up, and I don't know how you couldn't feel better about coming in now if you were him?"

Several WWE talents would be willing to "go to bat" for Wyatt although they don't believe that would be necessary. It was also noted that Wyatt has no interest in signing with IMPACT Wrestling. IMPACT made a significant effort to sign Wyatt but they never came close to reaching a deal.
