Report: Major WWE Match Under Consideration For Summer 2023

A long-awaited WWE match reportedly being considered for Summer 2023

With WrestleMania in the rear-view mirror, WWE will be looking ahead to the remainder of 2023, with several big events in the pipeline after Backlash in Puerto Rico.

With SummerSlam 2023 a little under four months away, and Money in the Bank in London coming even sooner on July 1, WWE have seemingly started planning for the summer season with a report from WRKD Wrestling on Twitter suggesting that WWE have floated the idea of having GUNTHER face Brock Lesnar at some point this summer.

GUNTHER and Brock Lesnar have made no secret of their desire to face each other inside the squared circle, with a potential hoss fight between the two behemoths a dream match for many fans.

Lesnar is currently feuding with Cody Rhodes after turning heel on ‘The American Nightmare’ on the Raw after WrestleMania 39, whilst GUNTHER is in the middle of a critically lauded Intercontinental Championship run, with his recent defence of the title over Sheamus and Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 39 night two regarded by many as match of the weekend.
