Report: Brian Cage Re-Signs With AEW

Brian Cage is sticking with AEW/ROH after signing a new deal

Brian Cage has ended speculation about his future after reportedly signing a new deal with All Elite Wrestling/Ring of Honor.

‘The Machine’s previous deal reportedly expired after ROH Supercard of Honor on March 31, with Cage believed to have been working without a contract whilst he and AEW discussed a new deal. A new report from Fightful Select suggests that Cage has put pen-to-paper on a multi-year deal with the company, with AEW believed to have worked hard to get the deal over the line.

Cage is currently one third of the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champions as part of The Embassy, with the group recently joining forces with Swerve Strickland on AEW TV. Fightful’s report suggests Cage’s new deal was agreed upon in principle by the time the angle with Strickland commenced.

A former IMPACT World Champion, Cage originally signed with AEW in 2020, and has had an up-and-down time in the company to say the least, with long absences marring his run.
