Report: Match With Brock Lesnar "Key" To Cain Velasquez Potentially Joining WWE

Reports surfaced on Monday suggesting Cain Velasquez is in talks with WWE, AEW and NJPW.

The former UFC Heavyweight Champion has earned rave reviews for his performances in the squared circle for AAA in Mexico - specifically, his role in a six-man bout at Triplemania XXVII that also involved the likes of Psycho Clown, Cody Rhodes and Killer Kross.

states that a key to WWE getting any Velasquez deal over the line would be a money-spinning match with Brock Lesnar. For the avoidance of any doubt, here's what Meltzer penned: "The key to the WWE offer would be building a showdown with Brock Lesnar, the WWE’s highest-paid wrestler, and the 2010 fight where Velasquez beat Lesnar to win the UFC championship."

A professional wrestling matchup between The Beast Incarnate and Cardio Cain would be a mouthwatering affair, with Cain defeating Lesnar inside the UFC octagon back in 2010.
