NWA Power Debuts As Weekly Show Next Month On YouTube And Facebook

Studio wrestling is back!

Looking to satisfy your long-unappeased hunger for studio wrestling under the NWA banner, five minutes after the start of the hour?

Let Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan give you your fix.

NWA Power, the first TV series of the Corgan-owned era of the National Wrestling Alliance, premieres Tuesday, October 8 at 6:05 PM EST on YouTube and Facebook.

The show tapes Monday and Tuesday night this week at Georgia Public Broadcasting Studios in Atlanta.

NWA World Heavyweight champion Nick Aldis is scheduled to defend his title against former champion Tim Storm at the tapings.

Other talent scheduled for the tapings include The Rock N' Roll Express, Jim Cornette, James Storm, Eli Drake, Royce Isaac, Thomas Latimer, Allysin Kay, Eddie Kingston, Marti Belle, Thunder Rosa, and Ashley Vox, among others.

Corgan noted during a press event Monday that the NWA is still looking for a partner in order to expand on their business model, and that it's not possible to run in this manner over the long haul.

The Corgan-led NWA also has a pay-per-view scheduled for December 14 in Atlanta.
