Report: 'Mega Main Event' Currently Planned For Next Week's AEW Dynamite

Major AEW Dynamite main event plans revealed

The July 10 edition of AEW Dynamite will feature a "mega main event" that is good enough to headline one of All Elite Wrestling's pay-per-views, according to Andrew Zarian on Beyond the Bell. Zarian noted that AEW could change their plans but he was told the promotion had a major match scheduled for next week's show.

"I was told that there is a mega main event for that show. Again, I have no idea. It could be bullsh*t. It could change. I don't know. When you quote me on this, you could say Andrew Zarian said this: 'Could be bullsh*t. It could change. I don't know.' But I was told that show will have a huge main event...But I was told that they're going to have a huge pay-per-view level main event. That's how it was said to me. Okay, so I don't know what that means. I don't know who it could be. I don't know if it's something else. I don't know," Zarian said.

The finals of the men's and women's Owen Hart Foundation tournaments will take place on next week's episode of AEW Dynamite, with the show emanating from the Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary, Alberta, Canada on July 10. Although not confirmed, it is likely the main event of Dynamite will be one of the finals.

The Owen Hart Foundation tournaments are scheduled to continue tonight and Jeff Jarrett will face a wild card chosen by The Elite in his quarter-final match. It is unknown who the wildcard will be but Hangman Page, who is set to return to AEW in the very near future, had at least been discussed for the spot.
