Report: Mike Awesome, Bam Bam Bigelow To Feature In Dark Side Of The Ring Season Four
A new season of Dark Side of the Ring is in the works
Vice’s award winning Dark Side of the Ring is set to return to TV screens, with a fourth season of the documentary series currently in the works.
No topics have been formally announced for the upcoming run, but a report from PWInsider suggests that episodes focusing on Abdullah the Butcher, Mike Awesome, and Bam Bam Bigelow are currently in the works, with Mick Foley, Jim Cornette, Terry Funk, and Hacksaw Jim Duggan among those who have been interviewed for the season.
PWInsider followed up, revealing that they haven’t heard if an episode on Duggan and Iron Sheik’s kayfabe shattering real life arrest in the 1980s will be the focus of an episode, due to speculation surrounding Duggan being involved with season four.
Past episodes of the show have looked at the likes of Owen Hart, FMW, Jimmy Snuka, the WWF Steroid Trials, and Chris Benoit, amongst others. First airing in 2019, the series went on hiatus in 2021 with Tales from the Territories taking its place.
