Report: Miro's AEW Contract Allows Him To Work In NJPW

Could we see Miro vs. Okada down the line...

All Elite Wrestling shocked the professional wrestling world this week when Miro debuted in the promotion as Kip Sabian's best man. The former WWE Superstar didn't wait long to take a shot at his former employer as he said: "You can take that brass ring and shove it up your ass!"

Miro will be sticking around in AEW for some time as Fightful Select reported the former Bulgarian Brute signed a "long term" deal with the company. There is an option within the contract, however.

Miro could also appear in other promotions as his AEW contract allows him to work in New Japan Pro-Wrestling and take on some independent bookings. Similar to Jon Moxley, he isn't allowed to wrestle for New Japan in the United States.

Dave Meltzer revealed additional details in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. He noted Miro's deal is similar to others in AEW whereby the young promotion has to approve his non-AEW dates.

If New Japan is interested in bringing Miro in, he is unlikely to debut anytime soon as foreigners without resident status are currently prohibited from travelling to Japan.
