Report: MJF Vs. Wardlow Still Listed On AEW Double Or Nothing Line-Up
Will the match take place?

May 29, 2022
As of early Sunday afternoon, the match pitting MJF against Wardlow at AEW Double or Nothing was still listed in the company's internal line-up.
Bryan Alvarez tweeted early Sunday afternoon EST (about seven hours before the pay-per-view goes on air), "As of this moment, MJF vs. Wardlow is still on the line-up for tonight."
Over the past day, a number of stories have come out that put the match in question. It was reported that MJF skipped out on a meet and greet at AEW Fan Fest on Saturday. Later, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful reported that MJF apparently had a flight booked out of Las Vegas on Saturday night.
In the early morning hours on Sunday, Alvarez seemed to refute that report, tweeting, "At this point I feel pretty confident in saying I do not believe a plane ticket was ever purchased."
The match between MJF and Wardlow was made "official" on Wednesday's Dynamite, after Wardlow defeated MJF associate Shawn Spears in a steel cage match. After two years as allies, Wardlow officially split from MJF at March's Revolution pay-per-view.
