Court Bauer’s group recently signed a broadcast deal with VICE TV

MLW is in the process of working out a new media deal after reportedly opting out of their deal with DAZN.
According to reports from PWInsider and The Wrestling Observer, Court Bauer’s group have severed ties with DAZN, and are in the process of removing content from YouTube.
Bauer himself addressed the reports on Twitter, saying the following: “We’re in the middle of a deal for the rights to the library. Hope to share more soon.”
MLW signed with DAZN in June 2020, and also recently signed a broadcast deal with VICE TV, after initially talking with Discovery. It was reported that DAZN wanted to run an MLW show in Hawaii, with Japanese promotion Dragon Gate also involved, but nothing came of it.
It was also rumoured that MLW and WWE were in talks over a potential partnership, likely similar to the type WWE has in place with the likes of Evolve, but no new information has come out about that. Speculation suggests that MLW’s deal for the media rights library could be with WWE.
