Report: More Details On AEW Signing Will Hobbs

His push began at All Out...

All Elite Wrestling announced last week that they had signed Will Hobbs. Hobbs was the breakout star during the Casino Battle Royale at All Out and he even went toe to toe with Brian Cage before they were both eliminated by Lance Archer.

The new AEW signing has appeared on Dark and Dynamite since July as an enhancement talent and according to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, this led to Hobbs being signed by the young promotion. Meltzer noted Hobbs impressed Tony Khan during his matches on Dark and he was subsequently booked on Saturday Night Dynamite in a match against Darby Allin. The AEW President was "hands-on" in putting the bout together and he thought Hobbs looked great in putting The Invisible Man over.

Having impressed Tony Khan, Hobbs' days as a jobber are seemingly behind him and he will team with his former opponent Darby Allin and Jon Moxley against Lance Archer, Brian Cage and Ricky Starks on Wednesday's edition of Dynamite.
