Report: More Talk Of Naomi Returning Soon

Naomi has been out of the ring since the August 18 episode of Monday Night RAW following the announcement that she was pregnant, thus relinquishing her recently won Women’s World Championship and taking time away from wrestling. After 14 months away, Naomi could be looking at a return. 

According to a report from Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there has been apparent talk within WWE of Naomi making a return to the ring soon. It isn’t noted how “soon” this would be, but the simple fact that discussion is taking place behind the scenes is enough to know that the ball is rolling on plans, and she is likely looking at getting back into ring shape. 

This follows a report from late last month that WWE were in the midst of preparing for a Naomi return to the ring, though nothing had yet emerged since then. With this second rumbling of a comeback for the former world champion, it is beginning to look more and more likely that she will reemerge at some point in the near future.
