Report: Most In WWE Think Steve Austin Should Main Event WrestleMania Saturday

Steve Austin to close out WWE WrestleMania Saturday?

Even though WrestleMania 38 is only one day away, what will close out WrestleMania Saturday is still unclear.

Ronda Rousey vs. Charlotte Flair for the SmackDown Women's Championship had been the scheduled night one main event for some time, but that seemingly changed earlier this week after Kevin Owens pretty much announced on Monday Night Raw that the KO Show with 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin would close out Saturday's event.

Rousey, however, then appeared on Ellen and announced she would be in the main event of night one, only adding to the confusion.

In an update, Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Vince McMahon "has gone back-and-forth" about what will close out WrestleMania Saturday and it "could change multiple times this week" as the match order is reshuffled.

Most in WWE think the KO Show should end night one of WrestleMania 38, though, because fans won't leave before the segment. There is a fear that won't apply to Rousey vs. Flair and fans will leave early before the main event, having already witnessed Austin's return.

WrestleMania Saturday will take place on Saturday, April 2, at Arlington's AT&T Stadium.
