Report: Motor City Machine Guns Expected To Have Multiple Suitors Following TNA Exit

Where will the MCMG end up?

Following the news that The Motor City Machine Guns - Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin - are set to leave TNA when their contracts expire on April 1, a new report has suggested the duo will not be short of suitors.

Fightful Select confirmed that there was a send-off for Shelley and Sabin at the most recent set of TNA television tapings, as well as some farewells said. They added that the team are expected to have multiple companies vying for their services and are not expected to return to TNA. The door is being kept open for them, however.

Shelley and Sabin themselves have yet to respond to individual inquiries regarding their status.

AEW star Darius Martin hinted on X that the MCMG could be on their way there in a cryptic post on X. Nick Wayne similarly posted about the Guns, sharing a picture of himself with the team alongside a heart emoji.

Despite never working for AEW, both Sabin and Shelley have extensive history with Ring of Honor (prior to Tony Khan purchasing the company) and are former ROH World Tag Team Champions. Shelley last wrestled for the company in 2020, while Sabin's last ROH match took place in 2019.
