Several Big Names Departing TNA

TNA are losing out on three notable stars

After it was reported earlier in the week that the pair were potentially heading in a different direction away from TNA and filing for several trademarks, it looks as though it is now confirmed that Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin of the Motor City Machine Guns are departing the company. The pair have been cornerstones of TNA for several years off and on, winning two TNA World Heavyweight Championships, three TNA World Tag Team Championships, and 11 X-Division Championships between them.

PWInsider have reported that a “sendoff” was hosted for Shelley and Sabin following TNA’s second night of tapings in Philadelphia last night in what was described to be an “emotional” farewell. Their respective contracts are set to expire on April 1 before officially parting ways with TNA. They aren’t the only two names finishing up with TNA as though, as PWInsider have also revealed that Killer Kelly is also leaving TNA.

The report states that the company will begin teasing a new tag team partner for Masha Slamovich, with whom Kelly is a former TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champion.
