The Motor City Machine Guns may have to wait another year before performing at WWE WrestleMania 41.
Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin are the number one contenders for the WWE Tag Team Championships due to their win over #DIY on the April 4 episode of Friday Night SmackDown. Any title match is unlikely to take place at WrestleMania 41, however, as WrestleVotes has reported that the Street Profits' WWE Tag Team Title defence is under consideration for the main event of the go-home episode of SmackDown before WrestleMania 41.
"It is worth noting the Street Profits and their tag team title match is also being considered for the main event of the go-home edition of the Friday Night SmackDown the night before from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas," WrestleVotes said on WrestleVotes Radio.
The final two matches currently planned for WrestleMania are reportedly a Randy Orton match and the War Raiders vs. New Day for the World Tag Team Titles. WrestleMania 41, meanwhile, is scheduled to have a runtime of nine hours with the pre-show, main card, and post-show.
