Report: Multiple Names Ruled Out Of Hall Of Fame 2023 Inductions

Multiple Names Have Reportedly Been Ruled Out Of A 2023 Hall Of Fame Induction

Just two names have currently been announced for the 2023 Hall Of Fame class, with legends Rey Mysterio and The Great Muta set for induction this year. Many names have been thrown around recently for potential inductees, though several have been ruled out.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider was asked about the Hall of Fame status of multiple former wrestlers, namely Chyna, Michelle McCool, and Umaga. All three are certainly worthy of the Hall of Fame, but Johnson revealed; "WWE has landed on their five inductees and [none] of those three are on the list for 2023."

It isn’t yet clear who else will be joining Mysterio and Muta, though there have been names like Stacy Keibler and Batista thrown around, but nothing official has come out just yet. Although former Women’s Champion Michelle McCool and former Intercontinental Champion Umaga may very well find their way into the Hall of Fame, the situation of Chyna has always been a contentious one, as it has taken a while for WWE to even mention her on programming despite her being one of the most notable names in women’s wrestling history.
