Report: Naomi Originally Set For Biggest-Money Deal Of Her Career Before WWE Walkout

Prior to walking out of WWE in May 2022 with Mercedes Moné (FKA Sasha Banks), Naomi was set to receive a raise. 

According to Fightful Select, Naomi's contract was close to expiring when she walked out of the company and she was likely going to receive "the biggest money contract of her career" as part of an extension that she and WWE were said to be excited about. 

Those talks were ultimately derailed when she and Banks walked out of a May episode of Raw over a creative dispute with Vince McMahon. Sources of Fightful's have claimed that Naomi and WWE have maintained positive contact since the walkout and a WWE higher-up is confident she will return to the company at some point. 

Fightful's report follows others which have noted that Naomi is expected to return to WWE, although she had yet to re-sign with the company as of early January. Naomi has also remained close to Mercedes Moné since their WWE exits and she was in attendance at the Tokyo Dome for Moné's NJPW debut at Wrestle Kingdom 17.
