Report: Naomi Yet To Re-Sign With WWE

With Mercedes Moné arriving in New Japan and confirming her exit from WWE, attention shifted to her former tag partner Naomi, with the team having walked out of the company together in May 2022. 

Naomi was also at the Tokyo Dome on January 4, supporting Moné from backstage amidst rumours that Naomi was set to re-sign with WWE. A report from Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter suggests that talks between Naomi and WWE are ongoing, but nothing has yet been signed.

A former two-time WWE SmackDown Women's Champion and former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion with Sasha Banks, Naomi was with WWE from 2009 until walking out in 2022. With her husband Jimmy Uso still a prominent part of WWE, many assumed that Naomi would return to the company at some point, although it looks as though we’ll have to wait a little while longer for confirmation one way or another.

Many have speculated that if and when Naomi returns to WWE that she could be inserted as part of The Bloodline, alongside husband Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, Solo Sikoa, Sami Zayn, and Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns.
