Report: Natalya Fought For More Female Representation At WWE WrestleMania 37

The Tag Team Turmoil Match was reportedly originally set for Smackdown

Natalya was reportedly one of the leading voices in securing a spot for more female superstars at WrestleMania 37.

The Women's Tag Team Turmoil Match and the resulting WWE Women's Tag Team Title Match, on Night One and Night Two of this year's WrestleMania respectively, were late additions to the 'Showcase Of The Immortals'.

With the lack of a Women's Battle Royal at the event too, a host of female talent were set to not be involved at WrestleMania 37, with only Sasha Banks, Bianca Belair, Asuka and Rhea Ripley scheduled for matches across the weekend.

According to a report from Fightful Select, however, Natalya was instrumental in having the Women's Tag Team Turmoil match added to Night One of WrestleMania 37, so as to make sure more women were featured at the event.

The original plan had been to feature that match on the WrestleMania Smackdown the Friday prior, with the resulting Title Match being the only addition to the two-night card.

Natalya and partner Tamina would win the Tag Team Turmoil outing, which also included Lana and Naomi, Billie Kay and Carmella, Liv Morgan and Ruby Riott and Dana Brooke and Mandy Rose.
