New Orleans Superdome for WWE WrestleMania 30

WWE WrestleMania could be heading back to the Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, the word in Louisiana and within WWE is that New Orleans is the current frontrunner to host WrestleMania 42. The show would take place in 2026.

WrestleMania has been held at the Superdome in New Orleans twice before with WrestleMania XXX in 2014 and WrestleMania 34 in 2018. The 2014 event saw Daniel Bryan (AKA Bryan Danielson) win the WWE World Heavyweight Title, while WrestleMania 34 was main evented by an infamous Universal Title match between Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns.

WrestleVotes has claimed that WWE and the city of New Orleans have held talks about holding a press event in the near future that would include a significant announcement.

WWE WrestleMania 41 will be held at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Saturday, April 19 and Sunday, April 20, 2025.

WrestleMania 42 will take place only a few months after the first-ever Royal Rumble outside of North America. It has already been announced that the 2026 Royal Rumble will emanate from Saudi Arabia.
