Report: NJPW Plan To Return To The UK Later This Year

Royal Quest 2 is on the cards...

Back in August last year, New Japan Pro-Wrestling held their first-ever independently promoted show in the United Kingdom, as Royal Quest was broadcast live from the Copper Box Arena in London, England. Fans in attendance received the full NJPW experience as KENTA defeated Tomohiro Ishii for the NEVER Openweight Championship, Hiroshi Tanahashi was crowned the new British Heavyweight Champion, and Kazuchika Okada retained the IWGP Heavyweight Championship against Minoru Suzuki.

Fans were hoping New Japan would return to the UK in the future, and they will seemingly get their wish as the Super J-Cast podcast reported on Twitter that the Japanese promotion is set to host another show at the Copper Box Arena in late October, with October 24 being touted as a possible date.

Super J-Cast tweeted: "As we hinted at in our last episode, several trusted sources have told us that a London Copper Box Arena show for NJPW is planned for late October with logistical support from RevPro/Andy Q. A possible (but unconfirmed) date is October 24th."
