Report: NJPW's The Empire Adding A New Member Soon

During the G1 Climax 30, Will Ospreay turned on his friend Kazuchika Okada and formed The Empire with Great-O-Khan and Bea Priestley. 

The new group has picked up numerous wins over Okada in tag team matches but Great-O-Khan ultimately came up short against The Rainmaker at Power Struggle. The former RevPro Tag Team Champion will have a chance to redeem himself during World Tag League, though, with a mystery partner. 

Who the mystery partner will be remains to be seen but Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that Jeff Cobb will be joining The Empire in the next couple of months. 

Meltzer: "I don't know that it's Cobb. Cobb is there. I do know that Cobb will be in The Empire, which is Ospreay's group, by January. So, it could be the mystery partner or it could be an angle on January 4 or it could be an angle at Budokan. I don't know." 

Jeff Cobb was reportedly originally going to be revealed as Will Ospreay's enforcer during the G1 Climax 30 but New Japan opted to go with Great-O-Khan instead. Will Ospreay will seemingly have two enforcers soon, though.
