Report: No AEW Talent Present At Last Set Of IMPACT Wrestling Tapings

A step back for the working relationship?

All Elite Wrestling and IMPACT Wrestling have shared talent in recent months with Kenny Omega, Private Party and Matt Hardy all appearing on recent editions of IMPACT while The Good Brothers have crossed over to AEW: Dynamite. Tony Khan has even become a regular on IMPACT, appearing in paid ads to promote Dynamite.

It might be a little while before we see more AEW talent wrestling on IMPACT TV, however. Several wrestlers and staff members in IMPACT Wrestling told Fightful Select that nobody from AEW was around at last week's tapings. Segments could be added in post-production, though, similar to Kenny Omega's original IMPACT appearances.

One AEW wrestler in Sammy Guevara was originally scheduled to be in a short angle at the tapings to follow on from his Inner Circle departure. The Spanish God was reportedly unhappy with the creative, though, and text IMPACT officials about alternative ideas and "not wanting to do what was agreed to." IMPACT subsequently cancelled Guevara's booking and much of the storyline at the tapings was used by Decay's Black Taurus instead.
