Report: No Plans For Petey Williams In-Ring Return Despite WWE Raw Spot

No Petey Williams in a WWE match

Petey Williams was involved on Monday Night Raw this week as he tried to break up a brawl between Bobby Lashley and Seth Rollins. Williams' involvement didn't end well for the former TNA star as he was Speared by Bobby Lashley.

Despite taking the bump, Fightful Select reported they haven't heard of any plans for The Canadian Destroyer to make an in-ring return.

Williams first worked with WWE as a backstage producer on a trial basis before he signed with the company in January 2022. The former X-Division Champion's work had been praised in WWE, with many talents' noting they had grown up watching Williams inside the squared circle.

During his in-ring career, Williams most prominently wrestled for TNA but he also performed for Ring of Honor and Lucha Libre USA along with several independent promotions.

While Petey Williams might not be returning to the ring, Jamie Noble will be in action at a WWE house show this weekend. The match will take place on December 11 in Charleston, West Virginia. The WWE producer noted it could be his last-ever match.
