Report: OC Segment Pulled From WWE SmackDown

AJ Styles' stable have had a segment scrapped from WWE SmackDown.

According to a report from Fightful Select, a planned backstage segment featuring The O.C. was scrapped from either last week's episode of WWE SmackDown, or this week's upcoming episode. The group currently consists of leader AJ Styles, the tag team of Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson, and newest member 'Michin' Mia Yim.

The group were reportedly supposed to film a segment recently which never came to fruition - although it's unclear which of the two episodes the segment would air on, or what it was set to consist of. Group leader AJ Styles recently progressed to the final of the tournament to crown a new World Heavyweight Champion, and is set to face Seth Rollins at WWE Night of Champions on Saturday.

The stable were recently drafted to SmackDown together, with Styles also having recently returned from injury on the May 12 edition of the show.

Should Styles defeat Rollins at Night of Champions, it will add to an impressive world title resume - having previously held the WWE Championship, NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship, TNA World Heavyweight Championship, and New Japan's IWGP Heavyweight Championship.
