Report: Other Tag Teams Missing From AEW: Fight Forever

Less tag teams than expected in AEW: Fight Forever

While All Elite Wrestling's upcoming 'Fight Forever' video game will feature the likes of CM Punk, Abadon, Sting, Jade Cargill, Kenny Omega, and Chris Jericho, it recently emerged that Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler of FTR would initially be missing from the title when it is released.

FTR won't be the only tag team missing from Fight Forever on release day, however, and Fightful Select reported that Private Party and The Acclaimed will be absent from the game's first build. Also not a part of the initial roster are Evil Uno, Jake Hager, Santana, and Ortiz. Stu Grayson was not planned either prior to his AEW exit.

Why those talents were omitted is unknown, although FTR will be added to Fight Forever as DLC at a later date. The Top Guys are some of AEW's top stars and they are the reigning ROH, IWGP, and AAA Tag Team Champions.

Furthermore, Fightful noted that AEW had insisted mini-games be featured in Fight Forever, while the promotion was initially less interested in community creations. Eventually, AEW decided they wanted community creations but developers YUKE's felt they would have to take out other features to spend time on adding the mode. If that happened or not is currently unknown.
