Former WWE star Wesley Blake is back doing some work for the company, according to a new report from Fightful Select.

The report noted that Blake has been at the Performance Center recently acting as a guest coach. Former WWE stars Dave Taylor, Santana Garrett and Bull Buchanan have all recently returned in a similar capacity.

It added that Blake is highly regarded with the PC, as he and teammate Steve Maclin were two of the longest-tenured talents there. Blake's work outside of WWE is also highly regarded, from those that Fightful have spoken to.

The former NXT Tag Team Champion and Forgotten Sons member was released by the company on April 15, 2021. Since then, he has worked for various indies, including Control Your Narrative, Wrestling REVOLVER, and Texas-based River City Wrestling. He also performed at a recent AEW Dark taping, losing to the Jericho Appreciation Society's Daniel Garcia.

According to the report, people in several companies have pushed for Blake to get a look.
