Heavy metal icon Ozzy Osbourne is reportedly going into WWE’s Hall of Fame.

According to The Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer, Ozzy was inducted at the pre-taped HOF ceremony, with the Black Sabbath front man sending a pre-recorded message for his induction. Ozzy was featured on the most recent episode of SmackDown during an advert for the Hall of Fame, so his inclusion comes as little shock.

Osbourne has been involved with WWE on several occasions, most notably accompanying The British Bulldogs Dynamite Kid and Davey Boy Smith as they took on The Dream Team at WrestleMania 2. Osbourne later performed at a May 2007 SmackDown taping in Baltimore, and later guest hosted an episode of Raw in November 2009.

Ozzy joins Davey Boy Smith, JBL, Jushin Liger, the nWo, The Bella Twins, William Shatner, Warrior Award Winner Titus O'Neil, Molly Holly, Eric Bischoff, Rob Van Dam, Kane, and The Great Khali for this years combined 2020/2021 Hall of Fame class.
