Report: Planned Winners Of The Raw Tag Team Championship Match At WWE Clash Of Champions Revealed

The match ended with a botch...

The Steet Profits and Andrade & Angel Garza continued their long-running rivalry at Clash Of Champions as they faced off once again for the Raw Tag Team Championship.

Both teams wrestled a competitive match for eight minutes, but the bout was suddenly over after Angelo Dawkins caught Andrade with a Pop-Up Spinebuster and the referee called for the bell despite the former United States Champion getting his shoulder up at two.

It later emerged Angel Garza picked up an injury during the match and the decision was made to go to the finish. The official seemingly didn't tell the Superstars or the commentary team, though.

With the rushed finish, some fans wondered who was booked to win the match. Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that the correct team still came away with the victory and The Street Profits were scheduled to win the match regardless of the botched ending.

Meltzer said: "Just so people know, The Street Profits were in fact going to win this match. They were not going to change the title. The finish was not changed in that way."
