Update On The WWE Women's Tag Team Championship Match

The match at Clash Of Champions was called off...

At Clash Of Champions, Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax were scheduled to defend the Women's Tag Team Championship against The Riott Squad. The match was called off only hours before the show, though, and WWE announced Baszler and Jax weren't medically cleared to compete.

Dave Meltzer of F4W Online later reported the champions had been pulled from the pay-per-view because they had been in contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19. This means they will now be in quarantine for 14 days as part of WWE's new measures following the recent coronavirus outbreak within the compnay.

WWE provided an update on the tag team title match ahead of last night's Monday Night Raw. Kayla Braxton confirmed The Queen Of Spades and The Irresistible Force won't be stripped of the title and they will face off against Liv Morgan and Ruby Riott at a later, unspecified date.

When Jax and Baszler do return, they seemingly have another challenger on the horizon as the new team of Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke picked up a win over Natalya and Lana on last night's show.
