Report: Possible AEW All Out Plans For Bryan Danielson Revealed

Who might Bryan Danielson's opponent be?

Bryan Danielson's opponent at the upcoming All Out pay-per-view on Sunday, September 4, has potentially been revealed.

Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer reported that All Elite Wrestling's original plan for The American Dragon was for him to face Chris Jericho in Chicago. If that plan has since changed, though, is unknown.

"So they may go with Danielson and Chris Jericho which is the first I'd heard for that pay-per-view," Meltzer said.

Danielson is currently locked in a programme with Daniel Garcia and Red Death defeated the former ROH World Champion on last week's episode of Dynamite in Danielson's return match. They will look to determine who the better wrestler is on the August 17 episode of Dynamite in a Two-out-of-Three Falls Match.

Chris Jericho, meanwhile, unsuccessfully challenged Jon Moxley for the Interim AEW World Championship on last night's Dynamite.

Danielson and Jericho have only had two singles matches before, first on a 2010 episode of NXT while it was still a game show. They then clashed on a February 2013 episode of Raw. Jericho won both matches.

They have been linked in AEW for the past few months due to the Blackpool Combat Club vs. Jericho Appreciation Society programme.
