Report: Possible WWE WrestleMania 37 Opponents For Roman Reigns Revealed

Could a date with Goldberg be on the horizon...

Ever since Roman Reigns returned to WWE as a heel with his Tribal Chief character, many have been hoping the storyline will lead to a match with The Rock at WrestleMania. The Brahma Bull himself has admitted he would be honoured to face Reigns at The Showcase Of The Immortals.

According to WrestleTalk's Louis Dangoor, WWE has started to throw around ideas for WrestleMania 37 in creative meetings and the company is hoping The Rock will return and face The Big Dog at The Show Of Shows.

Contingency opponents have been put in place, though, and Big E and Daniel Bryan are under consideration, along with current WWE Champion Drew McIntyre. WWE management were reportedly impressed with The Scottish Psychopath's match against Reigns at Survivor Series.

Another potential opponent WWE has considered is Goldberg. The two-time Universal Champion was scheduled to face Reigns at WrestleMania 36, but The Big Dog pulled out of the show because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The WWE Hall Of Famer is under contract with WWE through 2022-23 on a two-matches-per-year deal.
