Report: Randy Orton's WWE Contract Expiry Date Revealed

Could the end be nigh for The Viper?

Randy Orton was drafted to Monday Night Raw last week and will be captaining Team Flair at the Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia next Thursday.

The Viper, who has been known to tease fans on social media with cryptic tweets and pictures that could have more than one meaning, had the internet up in arms earlier this week after he posted a picture stood next to a sign that read "ELITE LEVEL."

Orton tagged the likes of The Revival and Luke Harper in the picture, Superstars who have been looking for a way out of WWE according to reports, while also tagging AEW's Chris Jericho and Cody Rhodes.

Naturally, fans the world over jumped to the conclusion that 13-time world champion Orton was teasing a move to All Elite in the future. It has now been revealed that any move for the former Evolution member couldn't possibly happen until next year at the very earliest.

Per a report from Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp, Randy's deal is up next summer. Some will remember the 39-year-old penning a 10-year deal back in 2010. Although, Sapp notes that "a number of variables" may have changed the contract's length.
